About Clinical Biomechanics

Footscan Technology using Scan-Mat Analysis and 3D Imaging
Clinical Biomechanical specialists analyse the movement of the foot and ankle during motion, correcting the anatomical relationship between the different segments of the foot, often prescribing orthotics (custom made insoles) to achieve this.

At consultation a complete medical history will be taken and both a functional assessment and gait analysis will be carried out incorporating Video Analysis, Footscan Technology using Scan-Mat Analysis and 3D imaging.
Where custom orthotics are required 3D imaging now replaces old style casting techniques whereby highly accurate 3D images are taken of the feet. Exact custom fit orthotics can be achieved as these images are sent to be made professionally by laboratories in the UK, or where Phits Orthotics are requested, made professionally by laboratories in Sweden.

- Heel Spur, Heel Pain
- Shin Splints
- Knee pain
